Our Story
8mm Reels journey began six years ago in Sydney, Australia where Bailey and Joe first met. Since then, they've spent the last four years building a life and a business centered around their shared passion for analog film. Alongside their two beloved cats, they created 8mm Reels to offer something truly unique in the world of photography and filmmaking.
8mm Reels core values revolve around preservation, authenticity, and delivering an exceptional experience to every client. Whether you're looking for a retro Polaroid or a crafted Super 8 / Super 16 film, 8mm Reels pride themselves on creating art that stands out.

Our Services
Photo Shoots: Capture the essence of your special moments with our photo shoots, available on Polaroid, 35mm, and medium format film. Each photograph is a tangible, one-of-a-kind keepsake, created with the timeless beauty of traditional film. We scan all film photos with our premium, flat bed scanner in archival quality (10K resolution) so you can view your film photos on your phone, tv, or computer. After the archival scan process is completed, we return the photos to you in a table top, photo album.
Video Shoots: Relive your memories with our cinematic video services, shot on Super 8 and Super 16mm film. Whether it’s a commercial, music video, wedding, or an event, our vintage film adds a distinct and authentic touch that stands the test of time.
